I am a Senior Research Associate at the University of Bristol, in the lab of Professor Chrissy Hammond. For the last 6 years, I have used zebrafish as a model organism to explore the role of autophagy in bone and joint development and in the formation and maintenance of cartilage. My work is focussed on understanding the mechanisms by which autophagy dysregulation contributes to bone diseases such as osteoarthritis.
