Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology

Di Chen is a Chair Professor of Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT), China. He serves as a Chairman of the Department of Pharmacology in Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, SIAT. He is also Academic Committee member of the university. Before he jointed SIAT in 2020, he worked at Rush University, Chicago, serving as a Chairman of Biochemistry Department. He has published over 300 scientific articles with total citations over 32000 times. His H-index is 90. He was elected by Elsevier as a high citation scholar in China in 2021 and 2022 after he took the academic position in China in 2020. He has been awarded with multiple NIH grants (total 12) when he worked in US and has been awarded with several major funding in China after he joined SIAT. He has been served as an editorial board member or associate editor in 10 major scientific journals in cell biology and bone biology fields. As a major contributor, he has won 6 major scientific awards in China, including National Science and Technology award.
