Robin Christensen

Professor Robin Christensen is Professor of Biostatistics and Clinical Epidemiology at the Department of Clinical Research, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark, and Founder of Section for Biostatistics and Evidence-Based Research at the Parker Institute, Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital, Copenhagen, Denmark. He earned his PhD in evidence-based rheumatology and biostatistics and serves internationally as a statistical and osteoarthritis editor for the Cochrane Musculoskeletal Group. He is an active member of the GRADE (Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation) Working Group and OMERACT (Outcome Measures in Rheumatology), where he serves on both the Strategic Advisory Group (SAG) and the Technical Advisory Group (TAG). He also contributed to establishing IDEOM (International Dermatology Outcome Measures) and continues to provide methodological guidance and critical appraisal of outcome measures across working groups worldwide. In 2022, he accepted the role of Statistical Editor for Acta Orthopaedica, and in 2023, he was appointed Statistical Editor for Osteoarthritis and Cartilage (OAC).
