Siyi Zhu

Siyi Zhu, PhD, is an Associate Professor, Master Supervisor, and Attending Physician at the Rehabilitation Medicine Center, West China Hospital, Sichuan University. He completed his PhD at Sichuan University in 2019, which included a year of joint doctoral training at the University of British Columbia and the Arthritis Research Center of Canada (2017–2018). Following this, he completed postdoctoral training at the Sichuan Key Laboratory of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine in 2023. His research utilizes like mixed-methods designs to evaluate conservative, non-pharmacological care for musculoskeletal conditions, with a focus on osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. He specifically investigates strategies to improve self-management efficacy and increase access to physical activity interventions.
