Jonas Bloch Thorlund

Jonas Bloch Thorlund is a Professor of Musculoskeletal Health at the University of Southern Denmark, where he also leads the Research Unit for Musculoskeletal Function and Physiotherapy. The majority of his research has focused on the continuum from knee injury to post-traumatic osteoarthritis, with an emphasis on patients with meniscal tears. Currently, Professor Thorlund has a strong focus on the impact and treatment of sleep problems (insomnia) in patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain and osteoarthritis, where he is involved in 3 ongoing RCTs, and co-founder of the Network for PAin and INsomnia Treatment (PAINT).
