Je-Hwang Ryu

Dr. Je-Hwang Ryu is a Professor at the School of Dentistry, Chonnam National University, South Korea. He received his Ph.D. from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) in 2006 and completed his postdoctoral training at Columbia University Medical School. His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying osteoarthritis, bone metabolism, and periodontal disease, with particular emphasis on metabolic and systemic factors regulating disease progression. His research has been published in leading journals, including Nature and Science, highlighting the roles of cholesterol metabolism and hypertension-associated neuroendocrine signaling in osteoarthritis.
