Gabby Joseph

Gabby Joseph, PhD, PStat, is a research scientist and professional statistician at the University of California, San Francisco, where she serves as co-director of the Clinical & Translational Musculoskeletal Imaging group. She holds a PhD in bioengineering and has more than 20 years of experience in musculoskeletal research. Her work combines quantitative MRI and advanced statistical methods to understand factors associated with knee osteoarthritis and its progression, with a focus on weight change. Her research investigates how changes in adipose tissue and muscle composition relate to joint structure and symptoms.
