Augustin Latourte

Augustin Latourte is an associate professor and rheumatologist at Lariboisière Hospital in Paris. He conducts his research in a laboratory (Inserm U1132 BIOSCAR) dedicated to understanding the biology of bone and cartilage. His main research topics are osteoarthritis and the mechanisms of cartilage calcification. He takes a translational approach, using animal and cellular models, as well as epidemiological studies. He is also involved in several clinical trials focusing on osteoarthritis and crystal-induced arthritides.
