Description

This product theater lecture gives an overview of Arthrosamid®, a 2.5% injectable polyacrylamide hydrogel representing a new therapeutic class for knee osteoarthritis: the injectable synovial implant. Unlike conventional intra‑articular therapies, Arthrosamid® becomes integrated into the synovial membrane and biomechanically restores its elasticity, helping to maintain joint function.

Across multiple clinical studies, Arthrosamid® has shown consistent, clinically meaningful, and durable improvements in knee pain and function.

The session will summarize key pre-clinical and clinical findings at a high level, outline current insights into the implant’s mode of action, discuss how restoring synovial elasticity may contribute to the sustained symptomatic benefits observed with this treatment, and highlight selected long-term efficacy and safety outcomes.
