Marius Henriksen

The Parker Institute

Marius Henriksen is a clinical professor of physiotherapy at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Copenhagen University, and head of musculoskeletal research at The Parker Institute at Copenhagen University Hospital. He is co-leading the osteoarthritis team at the Parker Institute that focuses on understanding of osteoarthritis and enhance the quality of life of the people that are living with this common and disabling disease. His primary research focus is clinical research in osteoarthritis with an emphasis on non-pharmacological management, including exercise and weight loss. He is an associate editor for Osteoarthritis and Cartilage and has over 150 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
