Dr. Madhu Baghel is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Dr. S. Amanda Ali’s Musculoskeletal Genomics Laboratory at the Bone and Joint Center, Henry Ford Health + Michigan State University Health Sciences in Detroit, MI, USA. She earned her BSc (2013) and MSc (2015) in Biochemistry from the University of Delhi, India, before completing her PhD in 2021 at the National Institute of Immunology, India. Her doctoral research focused on the influence of the microenvironment on osteogenesis. Dr. Baghel’s current work is centered on the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal diseases, utilizing multi-omics techniques. In Dr. Ali's lab, she is investigating the role of microRNAs in the progression of arthritis, from early to late stages of the disease.
