Dr. Chuan-Ju Liu is the Charles W. Ohse Professor and Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation at Yale University School of Medicine. He is also a Professor in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Yale University. Dr. Liu's research primarily focuses on osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, cartilage and bone regeneration, and autoimmune diseases. He has authored approximately 200 peer-reviewed research articles and reviews, including corresponding author papers in prestigious journals such as Nature and Science. His work has resulted in over 20 U.S. and international patents. Dr. Liu has been recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including the Kappa Delta Award from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons & Orthopaedic Research Society, the Ethelmae Haldan Award for Innovative Science in Osteoarthritis Research from the Arthritis National Research Foundation, and the Basic Research Award from the American College of Rheumatology.
