I am a clinician-scientist with a focus on better understanding of disease mechanisms and their influence on function and quality of life, by studying Clinical, Structural, and Functional characteristics of patients, through prospective longitudinal studies. I'm increasingly interested in personalized medicine and personalized disease prevention at population levels. With the increased challenges of an aging population, the need for disease/injury prevention and rehabilitation will continue to surge.
Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of West Florida, a Research Associate at Lund University in Sweden, an Early Career Investigator (ECI) for the OARSI Early-stage Symptomatic Knee OA Classification Criteria Initiative, and the Co-Chair of the OARSI ECI Committee, I am dedicated to advancing knowledge in my field and contributing to impactful initiatives.
