In this workshop, Early Career Investigator attendees will hear from two experienced researchers on the "Art of an elevator pitch". This includes its significance, the appropriate contexts for its use, and ways to tailor it for different audiences. The workshop will offer practical guidance on enhancing engagement, clarity, and both verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Additionally,  previous OARSI Rising Star Awardees will give example elevator pitches. Attendees will then have the option to participate in a practical session: (I) round-robin presentations on each table, with each participant delivering their pitch and receiving feedback (II) best presentations from each small group will present to the whole group. Judges (presenters and other senior OARSI representatives) will select a best pitch winner. Attendees will also select a people’s choice winner.
